Shaina and Mark

“Everything was challenging, but despite the challenges, seeing how beautiful everything came together made everything worth it.” -Shaina

Shaina is my batchmate in ICA high school, while Mark’s from Xavier. We reconnected and planned the whole thing 2019. But guess what? Pandemic happened, and now, I’m so glad she finally got to say yes, and we were able to shoot it. This is our first SDE for the year. We were scared to pull one during a pandemic. But Shaina requested, and I guess we just took a leap of faith. It is still scary to shoot during a pandemic, but we were able to do it. We all know how many times the dates changed, and how hard it was to finally decide on a venue. FYAM is truly happy to be back in the wedding scene once again. Pandemic really hit hard, but glad to finally be able to have some weddings here and there.

Fast fact about the two: Shaina and Mark have been together for 18 years, and they met through common friends via YM. ☺

Cara and Miguel

Miguel and Cara got married at Sacred Heart, followed by a wedding reception at Grand Hyatt.

“My love we’re getting married today. A truly great adventure awaits us. There will be laughs, tears, good times, not so good times, together we will face it all. I will not even make this journey without you. I love you from the time our souls met, to the end of time. Come what may I will love you til my dying day.”
Vows of Miguel written for Cara on their wedding day.

Nina and Erik

These two have been together for so long and I'm glad we were able to capture their beautiful wedding.

Erik is the brother in law of my sister. They asked if we can shoot their wedding since they liked my sister and his brother’s wedding video. Honestly, I do believe in word of mouth as one of the best marketing tools. It really comes from someone who saw how we work and loved it.

Do watch their SDE! Nina is wearing a Veluz and she looked absolutely stunning!

Gen and Raymond

Gen and Raymond got married at UST, followed by a beautiful grand reception at Sofitel.

Gen and Raymond are proud Thomasians! Thus, they decided to get married at UST. They have been together for 11 years, and Gen candidly mentioned that Raymond proposed over lunch! I asked them what their favorite wedding moment? “Right after the church wedding when we realised that it’s all over and we’re really married.”

Michelle and Christian

Michelle and Christian got married at Sofitel.

The first time I met Michelle and Christian, they told me they were coming from overseas and would like to meet me on their Manila trip. So I met them. Little did we both know that we were connected in some way. They asked me where I went from college, and i said, “UST”. She says she only knows one person from UST. and somehow between our conversation, we were able to figure out that one of her bestfriend is one of my closest friend in UST. Small world, right?.

Enough of this, let’s watch their SDE!!!

Darlene and Erwin

Jacob messaged me 2 weeks ago if we can shoot her sister Darlene for her Church wedding. They already had a civil wedding 18 years ago, and just what Erwin shared on their wedding video, he wanted to get married again on the same day, but this time, at Santuario de San Jose.

How intimate is this wedding? They invited less than 50 guests. The preps and reception was held in their home. Almost all preparations were done in less than 2 weeks! Nevertheless, I would like to invite everyone to watch this wedding video, and tell me if it really matters if you prepare your wedding a year before? 6 months before? or even less than 2 weeks? For me, what really matters is the love of the couple, and the support of the family and friends who will be there to celebrate it.

FYAM is honoured to be able to shoot this beautiful family of Darlene and Erwin.

Kathryn and Austin

Kat and Austin are both doctors. They got married at Mary the Queen, followed by a beautiful reception at Solaire Grand ballroom.

Last Sunday, my sister Kathryn just got married to Austin, and I can’t wait to share this video to everyone!

I do handle our clients, but I never knew having a close relative especially my sister, as client, is more nerve wrecking! Imagine if we f*ck up the video?! haha of course, FYAM did a very great job, and thanks to my super duper talented team for that! For the first time, my family saw how my team works during the day, and they finally realize that what we do ain’t easy at all. I even remember one of our shooters keep reminding me to chill! It was funny. Shout out to my boss Jason Magbanua who was cool to let me use the team for the wedding!

Julia and Gabby

Julia and Gabby tied the knot at Santuario de San Antonio.

Excerpt of Gabby’s vows: “Julia, first time i saw you, i had the biggest crush on you. as early as 14 years old, i already said i wanted to marry you. i was destined and determined to make you mine. now here we are getting married. it is literally a dream that came true. you make me so happy and you love me unconditionally.”

Finding someone you want to be with for the rest of your life is something that Julia and Gabby knew since they were 14 years old. But it’s another beautiful story for them to keep the love alive through the years and eventually reaching marriage and having a family together.

FYAM is honoured to be able to shoot this amazing story of true love. I never met Julia and Gabby until their wedding day. They were friends of my neighbour/classmate in ICA who referred us to shoot their wedding. We are lucky to have clients who trust us through word of mouth.
