Emilie and Sonny

Home
Sonny and Emilie have a very interesting story. I’m glad we were chosen to cover their wedding. They have known each other for over a decade, but only fell in love last year.

Sonny shared his favorite part of the wedding was watching Emilie walk down the aisle. Emilie’s favorite was seeing all their loved ones celebrate a special moment of their life.

I love how Emilie opened up her story that Sonny proved himself a true husband even before the wedding. He was there for Emilie when she had cancer. I wonder how many people in this world get so lucky to find someone to love “in sickness and in health”. I’m truly happy for both of them! I am a complete stranger, but being able to preserve this kind of love through wedding videos is something beautiful.

Diana and Jose

11 Miles
Diana is the sister of our former groom, BJ, who got married last year to Christina. I love how the two would always bug each other. I can see how close they were growing up together. BJ would even tease and tell me, "Hey, make sure our SDE is nicer!".

Diana and Jose are both doctors. I actually understand how hard it is to have a relationship with a fellow doctor. Not that I had a boyfriend who’s a doctor, but because my sister is a doctor. She would always rant about how hard it is to find a man in the industry. More so, to actually work things out. I admire how these two worked it out and eventually decided to get married.

Cheers, congratulations and best wishes Diana and Jose!

Charlene and Edward

Once in a Lifetime
Charlene was wearing a Jun Escario wedding gown. You know the feeling when you see a bride, and you just have to say that she’s the most beautiful person on her wedding day because she looks so happy? That’s Charlene for you.

The couple I never met. There are two types of couples, one is the OC type who would call me every week about almost everything about their wedding, and the other one is, who books and sees me at the wedding day itself. This was Charlene and Edward.

They are both based in Cebu. I was surprised to see one of our favorite wedding coordinators in Cebu, Stanz Catalan. We weren’t informed that she’ll be there. It’s always a running joke for wedding suppliers to see one of us as guests, bridesmaids, or maid of honor, or even being the bride/groom.

Doreen and Rey

Doreen and Rey are getting married this October 9, 2015 and we are so excited to share their save the date video!

I remember during our meeting, Doreen and Rey already had an idea of what they want. I told them, just trust the team, and we’ll make it work! And they did. I told them to make sure they have fun during the shoot because that is the most important part. You enjoy the moment!

I will never see Pico De Loro the same again after watching the amazing drone shots from this save the date video!

Cassie and Franclu

love is all we need
Cassie and Franclu got married in San Agustin a month ago, and I wasn't surprised to see some of my batchmates in the video. They met in Beijing and have been together for 4 years before finally deciding to tie the knot.

They initially inquired Jason Magbanua. Unfortunately, he’s already booked. FYAM to the rescue! We shot their wedding, and glad that we didn’t disappoint!

I’ve been working on weddings in the past 3-4 years and it’s my first time to see the entourage with an off-white and emerald themed wedding. It was rebellious and beautiful! But my eyes were all on the wedding gown of Cassie. I had to ask her who made it, even if I had a really strong gut feel that Veluz made it. And yes, I was right! Veluz made her gown, and Cassie looked stunning.

Charmaine and Philip

Ready For Anything
FYAM had an awesome time shooting Charmaine and Philip's wedding. Charmaine grew up in the Philippines, and later decided to have her career as a pre-school teacher in Hong Kong, while Philip is a local there. Charmaine and Philip got introduced to each other at a wedding in Manila around 2010.

FYAM just loves shooting out of the country! Who says no to Hong Kong?! Shooting in another country is harder than we thought. It was a crazy start! Imagine the logistics we had to plan. Thankful for Tita Becky who took care of us. :)

The couple had two tea ceremonies in the morning. 1st was in the Bride’s hotel, 2nd was at the groom’s house. Church ceremony follows in the afternoon before the reception. It was hectic and really tiring but all worth it! It all ended really well. The groom even asked me to bring home the wedding cake, lol!

Congratulations and best wishes, Charmaine and Philip! Enjoy your honeymoon in Bora Bora!

Jocelyn and Matthew

Childhood Friends
Jocelyn and Matthew tied the knot at Church of the Holy Trinity, followed by a beautiful reception at Edsa Shangrila Hotel. We had so much fun shooting our lovely FYAM bride, Jocelyn.

Jocelyn and Matthew have been friends since they were 5 years old. They spent their grade school years together never expecting their story would end in wedding bells. It was Matthew’s sense of humor and sweetness that caught Jocelyn. Their common interest in basketball didn’t hurt either.

Who would’ve thought that two grade school friends would fall in love and start a whole new chapter together?

Now let’s watch their SDE!

Candice and Lance

Love, love, love
Candice and Lance got married at Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, followed by a beautiful reception at Marriott Hotel.

They met in college. “It was a long courting period”. This was how Lance described how they ended up together. He courted Candice for 1 year, but Candice noted that Lance told him it was “getting to know” phase. But when two people are meant for each other, everything will fall into place in the right time. True enough, they have been together for 7years already before they planned to get married this year.

Back in 2008, Candice surprised Lance with 22 flowers given at different times of the day. It was his birthday and graduation day. Everyone teased Candice about it, so Lance had a witty idea of doing the same thing for Candice on their engagement proposal.
