Dyanne Kristine

18th Birthday
We ended November with Dyanne’s debut at Solaire.

We all know how busy November is with weddings, but we managed to shoot her birthday in the midst of chaotic November. All her family and friends were there to celebrate it! She entertained everyone with a few song and dance numbers all night. I’m sure her parents are so proud of her!

Do check out her save the date video too!

Jenny and Francis

Best Part Of Me
I remember Jenny during our meeting, she told me, “I bet you were expecting a younger bride”. Well, I am proud to say that Jenny is my oldest (not mentioning any age here), nonetheless, one of the most beautiful & graceful bride of FYAM.

It was a rainy day for a garden wedding. Last minute, we changed venues for the ceremony at Antonio’s. The guests were standing during the ceremony because the seats at the garden area were not moved to the new ceremony venue. I felt a bit worried and skeptic. The guests weren’t bothered at all. The night was festive, and the weather cool. Friends and family literally surrounded the couple during the ceremony. It ended beautifully with a lot of oohhs and awwws as the couple exchanged their vows. It made the ceremony more intimate, and just perfect. Truly, love is sweeter the second time around!

Thanks Francis Perez for letting us use your photos for our vimeo cover and header!

Eva and Homer

We Love Tonight

Eva and Homer got married a few weeks ago in Batangas. The ceremony was held at St. Therese of the Child Jesus, followed by a reception at Kawayan Cove.

I was informed that they were neighbors ever since they were kids, but I was still a little surprised to know that Eva’s house was literally beside Homer’s when we went there to shoot. It was fun! First time for us to shoot in a sugarcane farm and ancestral house for a save the date video in Batangas!

We were surprised when we got to their house, we were served with so much food, as if we were guests. I even remember Oly Ruiz asking, “may ibang bisita ba?”. We want to thank Eva, Homer and their families for the warm welcome! We felt treated as family, and not just as suppliers.

Congratulations and best wishes to Eva and Homer!

Patricia and Jean Paul

Love You More
We are delighted to share the wedding of a really pretty Chef of Cibo Di M, Patricia Locsin, and her fiance, Jean Paul last Sunday! They got married at Paco church, followed by a festive dinner at Puerta Real at Fort Santiago.

We weren’t able to meet in person before the wedding day, so everything was communicated through calls. Let me share to you one part of the conversation we had regarding their song selection.

P: “Below is the song that we want for the same day edit. Please check on you tube this is the exact song that My fiancé wants thank you”
(looks at Youtube and listens to “LOVE YOU MORE” BY SUNSCREEM)
FYAM: May I know if you guys have another song option? as we think, the song is not super workable.
JP (calling)
JP: Hi Therese, you know, this is the only request I had for the wedding. If you’re going to listen to it, it has ups and downs, etc.
FYAM: ooohhh! If that’s the only thing you requested for your wedding, then we will definitely work on your song. :)

The song was pretty challenging, but FYAM is always game for a challenge! We were happy with the outcome, and just glad that Patricia and Jean Paul loved it too!

Congratulations and best wishes, Patricia and Jean Paul!

Tina and Arvin

Manila Cathedral Wedding
Tina and Arvin tied the knot at Manila Cathedral a few days ago!  They were surrounded by their closest family and friends to witness this event. It was followed by a beautiful reception at New World hotel. FYAM along with the couple, had so much fun shooting inside the National Museum right after their ceremony. It was forbidden to shoot at some parts, but we were lucky to sneak some beautiful shots!

This wedding is close to my heart. I am friends with the bride since we were in grade school. We were particularly friends because we both hate Chinese(subject), and she was my seatmate! It was truly refreshing to see a lot of fellow ICANS too! Not to mention, she’s the first in our ICA batch to get married, and I’m really happy she asked us to shoot her special day with Arvin. Finally, after 8 years!

Congratulations and best wishes to you both!

Jamie and Rainer

San Sebastian Wedding
We didn't meet before the wedding. Yes, that's possible, future brides! Jamie and Rainer trusted us with everything. I was actually excited because we were working with Jeff and Lisa! ...and then I saw Jamie, she looked really gorgeous with her make-up done by Lindsay Co-Alog. She was a genuinely happy bride, and this radiates inside the room. I knew everyone was happy to be there.

Jamie and Rainer had their wedding at San Sebastian, followed by a reception at Century Hotel. I realized I didn’t have to know a client by talking to them. Mere actions say it all. Jamie’s father was teary eyed during the preps, and we knew so well how much he loved her daughter dearly. This sentiment was confirmed with the game of Jerome Go, the host. He asked the crowd who’s closer with the father. I quickly assumed the bride, and I was correct.Jamie and Rainer are both very lucky for supportive parents.

Congratulations and best wishes, Jamie and Rainer!

Dyanne’s Save the Date

Unwritten
Dyanne is turning 18 this month and FYAM is so excited to shoot her debut in Solaire! Dyanne loves to travel, dress up and just enjoy being a woman!

It was a breeze shooting her after getting all dolled up for the shoot. Ryan Ortega and I both agreed that she knew how to pose in front of the camera! Watch her Save the Date video and count down with us to Dyanne’s 18th!

Credits to Ryan Ortega for the beautiful photos (vimeo cover and header photo) of our debutant!

Iris and Will

No Place I'd Rather Be
Yesterday, Iris and Will tied the knot in Calaruega, followed by a beautiful and intimate reception in Splendido, Tagaytay. Iris wore a beautiful gown by Vera Wang, and guess what’s the groom’s gift for the bride? A customized Manolo Blahnik! Well, her best accessory for the night was her beautiful and loving groom, Will.

They are one of the coolest and nicest couples of FYAM. Iris is from NJ while Will is from NY, but they decided to have their church wedding here in the Philippines. I remember getting an inquiry from her mom and dad months before the wedding, and even meeting them before the couple! Lovely, and too adorable parents!

You guys should watch the SDE and envy the bride!!! She had a really cool dance with her dad.

Congratulations and best wishes to Iris and Will!
