Marian and Obet

Mango Farm Wedding
Marian and Obet had a garden wedding at Mango Farm, Antipolo. Personally, nothing can go wrong with Mango Farm weddings. No doubt about it, we love shooting weddings here! Everything feels rustic, and sentimental. During our meeting last year, I remember them sharing about having a long distance relationship where Skype didn’t exist. I heard Obet spent too many long distance calls just to reach Marian on the other side of the world.  I salute all couples that can manage long distance relationships. Truly, love perseveres.

On another note, they are one of the most generous couples we’ve had. I honestly appreciate clients who take time to thank us personally after their wedding (and even gave us huge tip!). I just felt the sincerity of their gratitude. I know it’s our job to produce quality wedding films, but couples that show how much they value our work, turn what we do into passion.

Congratulations and best wishes, Marian and Obet!

Ria and Jay

A Bespoke Wedding
Ria and Jay got married at San Sebastian, followed by a reception at Manila Polo Club. We are happy to shoot a very special moment in Ria's life!

We’ve been working with Ria alongside her brother, Ernest Pascual of Bespoke Manila for some time now during weddings and it always feels different when it is with someone familiar with the wedding industry. True enough, there’s a little pressure, but putting that aside, it was a magical moment for us to see a different Ria on her wedding day! She was definitely happy, and in love. Not to mention she looked like Bianca Gonzales with her make-up from Ms. Madge Lejano. And perfectly stunning with her bridal gown from Ms. Veluz!

Congratulations Jay! And best wishes to Ria!

AC and John

Best Day of My Life
The first time I met AC, I didn’t know she was an FYAM bride as most of our bookings, we communicate with clients online. It was funny because she went to our office not knowing that The Make-up Studio, Jason Magbanua, and For You Are Mine’s office are all in the same roof. I even escorted her all the way to the Make-up Studio of Ms. Madge for her trial make-up!

AC and John finally tied the knot after knowing each other for 10 years. They had their ceremony at Christ the King Church followed by a reception at Mandarin Oriental. She was a dashing bride wearing THE Veluz gown. AC looked so pretty that Francis Perez wanted to give her a boudoir shoot! Unfortunately, she resisted. Hehe!

Watch the SDE and see the best day of their lives!

(forecast: this song will be overplayed on the radio in 3, 2, 1…)

Carmen and Andre

Home is when I'm with you
Cebu weddings are always love! We were just there last February and we are so happy to be back this April for Carmen and Andre’s wedding.  Working with Bliss Unlimited, headed by Tisha Cue is always a breeze!

Carmen and Andre got married at the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod followed by a reception at the Pacific Grand Ballroom, Waterfront, Cebu.

She looked so radiant wearing a Monique Lhuillier wedding dress and shoes! Of course, she’s wearing a Monique Lhuillier for a Lhuillier wedding. All her bridesmaids looked so beautiful too. I never felt so Chinese after seeing so many mestizas around me!

The reception was styled with series of lights, setting the mood. It was stunning!  The night felt so warm and intimate even if there were a lot of guests. Everyone had a good time drinking and dancing with the music of The Authority Band.

I love how Carmen said during the interview, “at the end of the day, after the wedding, it’s just you, me and Luc together.”

Thank you Carmen and Andre for letting us do your wedding film. Hopefully, when Luc, (the super adorable baby who looks like he just came out of a Pampers commercial) gets married, you guys will still hire us to do his wedding film!

Sarah and Bryan

Save the Date
Sarah and Bryan got married yesterday at Sofitel. Although we weren't the official videographer of the wedding, we were really happy that they still pushed that we make their save the date video.

It took us a long trip to Antipolo for the location, but it was all worth it! We never knew this place existed in Antipolo. The best part is, Sarah and Bryan were so game to do the shoot.

Tipping Point Collective made sure the couple looked good all throughout! It also helps when you work with people you already know in the industry too!

Thanks Sarah and Bryan for letting us do your save the date video! You guys are the ones who made your video beautiful. We were just there to capture every bit of it!

Congratulations and best wishes to you guys!

Jewelle and Joel

Head Over Heels
I met Joel at his clinic. He’s a really good Cosmetic Surgeon. Jewelle on the other hand is based in Las Vegas, and is also a doctor. They met while Jewelle was having one of those shifts at a hospital in Manila.

Jewelle and I had constant communication via facebook. She would update me from time to time since she’s based in the States. She’s really friendly, and I love love clients who treat suppliers as friends. FYAM Brides like Jewelle truly make my work feel like I’m not working at all. What really made an impression to me about Jewelle? She was really excited for her wedding and she wanted to share it.

There was a butterfly that suddenly appeared inside the hotel room while Jewelle was about to wear her wedding dress. She couldn’t help but burst into tears. It was mixed emotions of happiness and longing. She knew that it was her dad. I remember being teary eyed after her mom told her, “Your dad would be really happy if he was here.”

They finally tied the knot at Calaruega followed by an intimate reception at Antonio’s. I remember Jewelle telling me that they didn’t want anything fancy or over the top. They just wanted their love to be the main highlight on their wedding day.

Ain’t that sweet? Now watch the SDE!

Jannell and Dong

Every Moment
Jannell and Dong booked us at a bridal fair. (Just a tip to couples: book during these conventions because we give away discounts!) I had a meeting with them at Starbucks, and quite frankly I wasn't surprised to find out that they worked at banks. They knew so well how to handle money. I was even asking them how I should be handling mine. Haha, true enough, they advised me to buy a house first, then a car.

As much as they knew how to handle money, when it came to their Same Day Edit, they weren’t as sure. It took them until the last minute to decide their SDE Song. Maybe that’s how it is when you want the perfect video for your wedding. I suggested musicbed.com, and they found a song that was just right. These are little details that couples should enjoy doing for the wedding preps, but most forget to do.

I’m also glad Jannell and Dong made it more personal by sharing their personal vows. The funny part? While the couple were sharing their vows, we were able to catch one of the groomsmen crying more than the bridesmaids! ;)

Destination: Davao

Monica and Keenan

This Modern Love
Last night, I sent Monica the video link of her wedding film, and her reply was, "Therese, it's PERFECT!". I remember meeting Monica at our office in Makati. She was really pretty. She didn't even mention that she was the daughter of Ms. Margie Moran and Mr. Tony Boy Floirendo. Nor did she mention that they own Pearl Farm, Davao. But she did mention her favorite film director, Sophia Coppola. I remember watching "The Bling Ring" after she told me about this. haha! ---

The FYAM team is  very honored to shoot the wedding of Monica and Keenan.

Monica and Keenan’s nuptial was something we will remember, even after a thousand weddings. They had 300 guests & a number of VIP’s who flew all the way to Davao for their big day.

The weather was crazy, but this didn’t stop everyone from having a good time! Our hotel was 5 minutes away from the ceremony area, not to mention that we were divided by the sea, and we could still hear them partying at 2 in the morning!

We had to ride countless speedboats. From our hotel – to Malipano Island – to the ceremony area – and finally to the reception. I got back to Manila and I honestly still feel like I’m riding one. But it was an experience we all would love to do again.

Congratulations, Monica and Keenan!
