Riley’s 18th Birthday

Same Day Edit

It's Riley's 18th birthday and once again, FYAM is very honored to capture every bit of it!

She was wearing two beautiful gowns from Cecilio Abad. I swear she stood out from the crowd when she entered the Edsa Shangrila Garden Ballroom.

It was great working with Erron Ocampo as he was pretty much very giddy about shooting Riley’s wedding. He even let me use his photo of Riley for the video cover!

My favorite part of the debut was when Riley’s mom and boyfriend danced on stage! Her mom was so supportive of her that she even graced the dance floor with her moves to entertain everyone!

The usual suspect of a perfect debut is having one of the best coordinators in the industry. Ernest Pascual and his team at Bespoke Manila worked it all out. They made sure everything was tip-top.

Watch the SDE and see our beautiful debutante on her special day!

Riley’s 18th: teaser

Better than the music video

From cakes, candies, to lollipops, bath tub, disco balls on the floor, cotton candy foam, sky high colored eyelashes, purple hair – she worked it out in front of the cameras!

She had 6 amazing sets of styling from Rabbithole Creatives. Ms. Madge Lejano of The Make-up Studio was really great at transforming her into something different each time too!

She was beautiful in every set. We had all the right team to make this video really awesome!

It was really great working with Erron Ocampo – the photographer! He even let me use his photos for the thumbnail of our videos and cover photos!

Fuchette & Carlo

The Happy Bride
I just met the most unforgettable bride, her name is Fuchette. I still can't figure out where she got her name. Many times, her name was mistakenly spelled in our office. Fuchelle, Puchette, Fuchette.

Finally I got to meet her. She was wearing this turquoise dress matching a pretty blue bag. It was my favorite color and I knew right then and there that this woman got taste. As she handed her business card, it was written that she was an Interior Designer.

She met her boyfriend of 10 years at work. He was a contractor and they usually work on projects together, how cool is that?

Come wedding day, all that mattered was she was a happy bride and Carlo was patient to do everything that the photographer asked. And oh, I wasn’t surprised at all that the theme of her wedding was turquoise.

Not to mention,Fuchette and Carlo was our first slowmoo couple! https://vimeo.com/76029770

Congratulations Fuchette & Carlo!

Patrick & Camy

Save the Date

Do you remember our FYAM promotion with the beautiful type of "True Love Stories Never Have Endings?"

Patrick and Camy won a free save the date video from us + Ms. Madge Lejano of The Make-up Studio also gave a free make-over to complete the deal! Everything worked out really well, and we are very happy with the output!

They are both artists here in the Philippines. We decided to make a video of what they love doing best, making art.

Here’s an excerpt from their love story written by Camy:

We bring out the best of each other. If it weren’t for him, I think I would still be mean to my parents. Or not care about others at all. Or be a lone ranger for the rest of my life….just ridden with work and the occasional retail therapy high. He taught me that there are people who will always love me no matter how I tried to push them away. I know because he is one of them.

Our love is our glue. Our love is how we strive to be our best selves everyday.

As for him, he would often tell me, that his drive is fueled by me. He admitted more than once that I was/am his inspirations in every work he has done as an illustrator, a sculptor, designer and more recently, calligrapher. He is constantly experimenting, it was not just his natural curious mindset, but he wants to bound every new skill with  our love. And he wanted people to know or feel that. He has told me everything that he had gone through. His hardships, his insecurities, even his demons.

We are the bestest of friends, we are a team. and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Our love, is our greatest artwork. A masterpiece.

Our love is Ubuntu: I Am Because We Are.

Pia’s 18th Birthday

#PIASUNIVERSE
Pia’s debut is the ultimate definition of a PARTY.

I never knew planning a debut was as tedious as planning a wedding! Pia was very meticulous, and hands-on with her debut even if she was really busy with fixing all her school requirements in Singapore.

Nevertheless, it was a very successful and memorable debut and FYAM is very honored to capture it!

Ramon Bautista was there to host it. She graced the Rigodon Ballroom wearing a very beautiful gown by Rajo Laurel. During her fabulous performance, she had this 3D effect of herself while dancing! Who says only Beyonce can do that? Her performance made everyone screaming for more!

The debutant was the perfect combination of beauty & brains with a dash of talent! No wonder Pia was given such an extravagant debut by her parents.

Pia & Josef

Rainy San Sebastian Wedding
Rain never stopped us from shooting a beautiful wedding.

I remember when I first met Josef for a client meeting. Pia was not able to join us because of schedule, but Josef insisted that it’s okay because he was the one in charge and meticulous about videos. It was rarely the groom who goes to client meetings, trust me.

I take notes of client’s concerns. Josef asked me if I could show him a couple of videos we shot at San Sebastian. After watching the SDE, I must say that it’s always different every time when you throw in a little creativity.

Must be a chore for Pia to carry the train of her wedding gown in the pouring rain. Nevertheless, the church felt warm and Pia couldn’t wait to see Josef.

I will always fall in love with the classic stained glass windows and chandeliers. Makes me feel like I’m in a Harry Potter scene.

Congratulations Pia & Josef!

Nuala’s First Birthday

Michael and Claire's daughter
This family has always been close to me.

We shot Michael and Claire’s wedding in ___. It was quite unforgettable as the then about to nationally explode (and subsequently  implode) Orange and Lemons played at their  wedding.

I was a fan of that band.

But I’m a fan of this couple as well. They never seem to grow old,  even after two kids.  I continue to share their fondness for comics, U2 (he proposed to her in one concert), photography among other things.

I shot their first born son Ihriel’s  first party and first daughter’s – Nuala.

Nuala is named after DC’s Sandman’s greatest love.

And this is her party.
