Llewelyn & Victor

Bride: Game Changer
Groom was Bride's First boyfriend. Bride was Groom's game changer!

I love it when a song is just too perfect for the couple’s relationship. For their wedding, they requested “Finally Found You” acoustic version of J. Rice.

It was a tough act for Victor to change his game when he had all the girls lining up for him. Until he met Llewellyn, he realised that life is too short to waste on the wrong ones.

Llewelyn was beautiful not only because of her physical appearance. She was beautiful because she was able to change Victor’s game.

We all want to meet our game changer. We all want someone worth keeping.

Julie & Dennis

Love Makes Them Stronger
There’s something about this job and how we become instruments to making other people happy.

It was my first time to have an online meeting with a client. I only met Dennis. Julie couldn’t connect with the other line, so I wasn’t able to meet her. Right then and there, I figured that they had a long distance relationship in the U.S. From there, Dennis asked me to make sure we get footages of Julie’s mom as she was sick.

Unfortunately, A few weeks before the wedding day, Dennis told me that Julie lost her dear mom. My heart broke as if I knew them for a long time. I even remember Dennis telling me to make their wedding video beautiful because he wants it to be memorable for Julie and in the process uplift her spirits.

With this in our minds, the FYAM team was motivated to make Dennis and Julie happy on their wedding day by making sure we capture moments worth preserving.

Trials make relationships stronger. Love makes it all bearable.

Angela & Allen

Love Can't Wait
I remember tweeting @touristyee:“I just had a meeting with a client, and they’re just my age!!!” And then I got a reply from my boss, @jasonmagbanua:”don’t even think about it”.

I asked Allen’s mom why she allowed them to marry at such a young age (23 years old), and she just said, “I don’t want to lose Angela. I love her for my son.”

They met during a wedding of someone they both know. She was sitting alone as the bridesmaid, and yes, quite expectedly Allen was the guy who asked her to dance.

As to the terms of working it out, Angela and Allen both lived in different cities in Australia. Having a long distance relationship wasn’t easy. Allen was pretty much lucky to have a very supportive family. He would tag along his family during the long drives just to visit Angela.

Nevertheless, every long drive, Skype calls, chats, just to reach Angela was worth it.

They say you don’t have to taste the whole cake for you to know that you really really like it.

Mai Chi & Son Le

Mr. Right & Mrs. Always Right!
The For You Are Mine team had the chance to experience a traditional Vietnamese wedding of Mai Chi and Son Le last December 2, 2012. I love how Chi called themselves, Mr. Right, and Mrs. Always Right!

Before the big day, we had a quick shoot with Chi and Son in the streets of Ho Chi Minh. Witnessing love from different parts of the world and being able to share it through wedding videos was something all of us will forever keep and cherish.

It took more than 12 hours in the making as it started with releasing of birds and eels before 6’o clock in the morning. Then it was followed by a series of ceremonies from the bride’s home to the groom’s. Everyone can feel the anticipation of both families as everyone had their own responsibility during the wedding day. Some of Chi’s friends were heaven sent! They came all the way from Virginia and Hong Kong, making it easy for us to communicate, work well and understand the rituals of their wedding.

To come across the culture of the Vietnamese tradition was a very unique experience to all of us. They trusted our talents, and the couple generously welcomed the team. It is truly an honor to us Filipino videographers that we were chosen by Chi and Son to document their very special day.

Our bride told me, “This will not be your last time to go to Vietnam! Everyone is asking who did the video!” –Mai Chi

Vicky & Peter

Never Too Late!
Even at 41, love didn’t stop her from marrying Peter. As they say, it is never too late to fall in love.

Last November 11, 2012, we had the chance to shoot a really lovely couple with an amazing story. Vicky and Peter knew each other 23 years ago. Time set them apart, but this also brought them together. A few years ago, Peter friend requested Vicky on Facebook, and the rest was history.

Watch our SDE, and believe me when I say that Vicky looks like a sister to her own daughter.

We also had the chance to work with Ernest Pascual of Bespoke Manila, and he was really professional in organizing Vicky and Peter’s wedding. But, I must highlight that the set up at Mango Farm by Dylan Gozum of Vatel Manila really helped us make a beautiful production of Vicky and Peter’s Same Day Edit. The warm string of lights and the beautiful flower arrangements gave a really romantic feel along with the fleeting moments captured by our very own videographers.

Bubot & Marc

Alapaap
Mango Red’s Photographer, Marc Santos just got married! The For You Are Mine team was really honored to shoot Bubot and Marc’s wedding at Pueblo Por La Playa Resort, at Pagbilao Quezon.

Being in the business for years, we have been accustomed to associate other wedding suppliers like Mango Red as family, so we are honored that even wedding suppliers like us, trust us to shoot their wedding!

I love the stories behind every couple we shoot.  Every client is literally another beautiful love story; this inspires us every time to share them with you.

Marc persistently requested to have an Eraserheads song for their video. He didn’t take no for an answer when he asked us to use “Alapaap”. Marc met Bubot during the Eraserhead’s Reunion concert, and he knew that she would really appreciate it if we used a song that reminded them of how they first met.

Love takes place in the most unexpected place and time. You are caught off-guard as someone takes your heart and runs away with it. You end up giving in, trusting that person to take good care of it. Finally, you come into the position that you can’t live another day without that person, and you just want to start your life all over again because you know, everything will be alright, and you can take anything that the world will throw your way.

Michelle & Brian

High School Love
Michelle and Brian knew each other since high school. High school’s too far away so i guess it must’ve been true love for them. To cut the story short, they just couldn’t let go of each other anymore and decided to tie the knot at the National Shrine of Sacred Heart. The reception was held at the Le Pavillion. It was a beautiful wedding with around 800 or more guests.

We do not usually put the first dance of the couple during the onsite video unless they really had a beautiful one. With Brian and Michelle’s first dance, it wasn’t a choice if we will put it because that’s how beautiful their first dance was. I’m sure one of the factors why Michelle loves Brian so much is because he’s so talented. He sang during the reception and even graced the dance floor with Michelle.

It isn’t new to us when a relative of a previous client asks us to shoot their wedding. Brian and Michelle is one of them. Michelle’s sister was our bride. We didn’t have a hard time working with the family because they were already familiar with our shooters. We love how a client chooses us because they already know the quality of our work. We are lucky, and honored to shoot this wedding like it’s a legacy being handed down.

Do watch the video to see their first dance!

Joyce & Mikey

Cool Chinese Couple!
I can't wait to have my own choreographed dance in my wedding! (Not that I'm getting married soon!) It's something that made it all personal and fun. Thanks to this day and age, we have videographers who can capture these kinds of moments.

Let me tell you why this wedding is memorable for me.

1. I was feeling sick the whole time. (the photographers Nez Cruz and his team at the anteroom witnessed this)

2. Just as I was trying to console myself from feeling sick inside the anteroom, I knew I had to get up and watch the first dance because “Huling El Bimbo” by the Eraserheads was playing. The couple were so game and giddy that they surprised everyone with their choreographed dance. I have to admit that during the client meeting, I didn’t expect them to be doing such a thing on their wedding day! I must say that Mikey and Joyce did a very good job.
