Hannah and Nacho

Love is True
Hannah and Nacho got married in Baguio a few days ago and we are soo happy to shoot this wedding!

Hannah and Nacho have a very beautiful story. Maybe because I can totally relate with them becuase I just got married with someone I met 3 months ago.

Hannah shared that they knew each other last January. Nacho proposed to Hannah 2 months after they have been together. They even revealed that they were both engaged long time ago with another person, but never really worked out. I seriously had goosebumps all over my body when they shared it to me. This is because it just occurred to me how love really works in mysterious ways. (ok that sounds really cheesy, BUT TRUE). The best thing about this? We actually captured their beautiful wedding day, and I must say, it doesn’t matter if you have known each other for years or months, you know it, when you feel it, that you finally met the one!

Ravissement

Rapture
This is ravissement. Rapture. The feeling of dancers on a certain high at the peak of their craft. Watch, as these artists showcase a swirl of colors in the midst of a dull, grey canvass. Watch, as we encapsulate a fleeting art captured through our lens.

People know For You Are Mine for beautiful and romantic wedding films.

But we’d like to share this film to you, something different and left of center.

This is an exercise in challenging ourselves and looking for other avenues to hone our skills as artists. Our work is more than what we do or make, it’s our burning passion.

Here’s what we came up with whilst collaborating with fellow artists and adventurers – Stylettos, Mangored and Rabbithole Creatives.

Emilie and Sonny

Ocean Deep
Emilie and Sonny got married at Don Bosco, Makati, followed by a beautiful reception at Raffles.

Tita Emilie: “Hi Therese, are you still available on August 15, 2016?”
Therese: “Yes! May I know who’s getting married?”
Tita Emilie: “me and Sonny again!”
Therese: “WOOOOOW!!! LET’S DO IT!”

In God’s perfect time, Sonny and Emilie finally were able to say their vows in front of the altar. It was their second wedding that we shot. This is actually our first time to shoot a wedding twice! It was more intimate and chill, safe to say that everyone really enjoyed the night filled with love!

Jaynee and Jared

Perfect Strangers
Jaynee and Jared got married at the Christian Bible Church followed by a grand reception at Sofitel. Jaynee used to be my classmate in ICA. Lately, I've been having more bookings from the same batch. I honestly feel that my heart is excited and scared to think that I'm getting old. BUT HEY! I'm glad I get to witness a part of their lives as they trust that FYAM will do a good job in covering their wedding. :)

Jaynee and Jared shared that they both met during a Kid’s Camp on their church in 2008. They both volunteered to become “room parents” and counselors to the kids. On the last night, Jaynee and Jared got to talk to each other over several games of slapjacks with the other counselors.

Their friendship bloomed quickly and their love story began on July 2009.

He proposed on their 6th anniversary in Tagaytay Highlands. After a hefty lunch of steak, they rode the cable car to enjoy the view. In the middle of the ride, Jared got what seemed like a new pair of contact lens. He took out the hidden proposal ring inside it and proposed.

Cielle and Jay

Love Waits
Cielle and Jay met at their Medtech Internship at NCH. They got married a few days ago at Lourdes Church and followed by a beautiful reception at Taal Vista.

I love how persevering Jay is to Cielle. Everyone deserves that kind of love!

They were together for 7 years, with 1 year break up.
Cielle shares that Jay failed 3 times in proposing to her.
1st in Cambodia. They were checking in at the airport, then she found out that her passport was about to expire. They had to cancel the trip!
2nd in Sonya’s garden. It was raining really hard… he thought it wasn’t the perfect time.
3rd in Sky Ranch. The weather wasn’t cooperating. It rained hard and there was power outage right before they were entering!
The plan that worked, was finally on the eve of his bday, at the revolving restaurant in Eastwood, he popped the question… “Will you marry me?”

You see guys, it doesn’t always work the way you want to. It was also raining during the wedding, that they had to move the reception inside Taal Vista! But all is well, everyone had a blast at the wedding!

Kai and Mond

Forever, Always
Kai and Mond got married at the Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Antipolo, (One More Chance guys) Followed by a very beautiful reception at Mango Farm.

Kai and Mond have a business called “Cut The Scrap”, making crates and wooden toys, cargo boxes, trays, miniature jeep, sorbetero carts, trains etc. To make their wedding more personal, and with their penchant for anything wood, they had this whole theme of wood & nature for their wedding.

It always feels different to watch a wedding video of someone you know. I’ve always considered ate Kai as one of my sisters in the theatre org I’m part of when I was in college. When I graduated, My good friend Kuya Marlon told me that his bestfriend is dating ate Kai. Little did I know that after 5 years, my team FYAM will be the one shooting their wedding. It definitely tugged my heart after watching this SDE!
